A very merry Christmas to you all 
As usual, I've not sent cards, nor donated money for a goat on your behalf but I have eaten your mince pie, and I made some oreo cookie truffles with the girls but they're not on their way in the post either. Frankly because you're not round the corner, you're a bit stuffed. At least you don't have to put the weight on that I'm carrying for you all. Next year though I will be able to work as a Santa in the local mall. It's been super to hear your Christmas news in your emails, and your concern about us since we got all shook up yesterday.
After fifteen months of shaking here, it's second nature and whilst yesterday was one of the top ten shakes today we were back to normal shopping like mad things (since yesterday was curtailed). My local shops have already fallen down, but a few of the container shop fronts had a couple of casualties Nothing has changed at my place, and all our friends are well, and as far as we know everyone is running sweetly. All my scout dens are OK, and none of my leaders are safe. Our only casualty was Monty the moose mounted on the wall in my old group den, it's found it's way onto the floor and the back board is split so I'll need to get that repaired. In other news though, Christmas is tomorrow and all the shopping has been done, Amazon has been running hot and there were few elves working on my behalf to get gifts to Hannah on the Gold Coast, (Yes I know auntie Jen she should come see you, but if she listened to me she wouldn't be hiding with all you convicts anyway). Otherwise though everything is handled here, just some truffles to make and add to the Biscotti that India made earlier this week and then it's Christmas day, bacon (not for me though) and french toast for brunch and a small glass of french fizz before some time away in the Nelson Area doing a bit of the much hated camping. I hope you all have a fabulous family time this Christmas and a really top new year next year Kisses
